About the site
It all began when Antony started out in the band Blue. Loved him from the start and I wanted to make a website all about him. To be honest the reason for me starting a website and all the work was that I noticed a lot of Duncan, Simon and Lee sites, but no Antony ones. So thats when I started mine.
The site started off on a free serve domain with only a little bit of space. So I could not do much with it. But as soon as the site, then named www.antonycosta.tk, was in the air it was very popular. The site started to grow each day and more and more people joined. It took me about a year to make it as big as it was. I collected loads of photos online and they were all on the site. The site had over 400 photos in total, and thats just photos of Antony himself. Not even mentioning all the others on there.
Then things got bad. I got emails from the host saying I would have to start paying for the site, as it was so popular. They could not handle the bandwidth. So I emailed them back about it but never got any replies. After trying to get in touch so many times, I came online one day and tried to log in. Only to find my site gone. So I mailed them again and this time they send a message back. I had to play a lot of money to get the site back, and basicly I did not have the money. So from that day forward there was no more Antony Costa site. Well not mine anyway. (oh yeah the hosting site was sphosting.com, so dont go there)
It did make me feel sad that I had lost the site. The site I had put so much effort in and time, and now there was nothing left. So for the next few moths, even years I just could not handle making a new one. I was 2 scared of losing it all once again.
But now here the site is again. This time its hosted on my own domain, so there is no chance in deleting it. Unless I do it myself, but that would be by accicent only. I am hoping to put all the photos back on the site again someday, but its going to take time. For now I really hope you enjoy this new version of the site. And ofcourse a new url. This time it will be know as www.antonycosta.nl. So please spread the word about the site and let it become big.
